I’ve said it hundreds of times. At times, it feels justified, especially when I’ve done something I know better than to do! I tell myself, if I acknowledge that I’m being stupid, I’m punishing myself and I’ll know better the next time. But then, it happens again, and again…

It’s a habit, many of us have developed over the years. You may think it’s harmless, but I assure you, it has deep reaching affects for you and those around you.

You have been feeding on the approval others, since you were born. The early conditioning you received has formed an ego based, false self image of who you “were” at a particular point in the past, lodging itself as your current self image.

You entered this life as a perfect Soul. You have a loving self image, buried deep within you. This is your True Self.

Through meditation, turn your attention inward to reconnect to, and refresh, your True Self image.

Treat yourself as a cherished loved one, with kindness and love. Who you are, is so much more than the false image you created. You are a perfect, divine creation. Start by only giving yourself positive words of affirmation, and stop diminishing yourself with harmful negative self talk.

When you give yourself permission to detach from the opinions of others, and open to your inner beauty and self worth, your consciousness expands and you embrace the creative power you possess as the magnificent divine, perfect being you are.
